They’ve made their mark in a big way. 🎉 They also hold a unique place in CPS history: the Class of 2029 will be the last class to complete a full school year at our current CMS location. Hot off the press! Mrs. Stewart’s first graders are officially published authors! Before school was out, this Nance Elementary class received their very own class book from the publisher — and it’s a wild one. 🐾 It’s titled First Grade Animals, and every student picked an animal, did their own research, wrote a page all about it, and created their own illustrations. From fluffy to ferocious, this book is packed with fun facts and first-grade flair. Physicals for 7th–12th Grade Band & Sports – 2025–26 School Year Students in grades 7–12 have several options for completing their required physicals: Option 1: Schedule a visit with your primary care provider Option 2: Visit a local urgent care clinic Both of these options are typically covered by Soonercare and most insurance plans, including HealthChoice. Option 3: Date: Wednesday, May 28 Time: 1:00–4:00pm Location: Clinton Regional Hospital (Enter through the south doors near the ER) Cost: $10 Parents/guardians do not need to attend as long as pages 1, 2, and 4 of the OSSAA physical form are completed and signed ahead of time. If you’re unable to join us in person, you can stream our Commencement ceremony at cpsredstv.org. Please remember that the park will open at 5:00pm to choose your seats.
