We are proud to celebrate Micah Baker for being named the Educator of the Game at Friday night’s Homecoming game! 🌪️🍎

Now in his third year at CHS, Mr. Baker teaches Oklahoma History, Government, Speech, and Drama. He and his wife, Amy, have been married for two years.

He was nominated by student, Hadley Meget, who shared:

“Mr. Baker is a great teacher and is always wanting to teach us more things every day. Even when we don't have time to do something new, he still is always up and going to teach us everything he knows. He is always happy to be in class. I love going to his class and love seeing him support all the sports whenever he can!”

Congratulations to our talented students who earned a spot in the Oklahoma Small Schools Band Directors Association (OSSBDA) All-State Concert Band! 🎉🎶

CHS seniors recently attended OU’s Native Nations Day, where they toured the campus, connected with support programs, and explored opportunities for engagement within the OU community. They heard from speakers who shared tuition and financial information, gaining insight into the experience of attending OU.

This event invited students to explore the many ways OU equips and prepares students from Native Nations for their college journey and beyond, highlighting the integral work of OU’s Native Nations Center. ❤️🤍
